Canara Engineering College decided to offer wireless network to all their students within the campus; including class rooms, conference halls, library, staff quarters, and hostel rooms. Yugae did survey and provided the most suitable wireless solution for entire campus. The complete pouring rain season in half the year was one of the challenges faced in this area. The outdoor wireless units performed well even during the heavy raining condition.
The wireless solution included building to building PTMP (Point To Multipoint) connectivity, WiFi / WLAN for the buildings. Security was enabled for allowing authorized users and also limit on usage of Internet Bandwidth, a user management software was deployed that will give the complete control to the network admin and institute authorities.
